Ebbro is a relative newcomer to the diecast collectable scene, but in the last couple of years this Japanese manufacturer has developed quite a reputation for producing some of the finest 1:43 scale models on the market. While the subject matter is predominantly aimed at the Japanese home market, there are many models here that Australian collectors will recognise and be interested in. From popular cars such as the Datsun 1200 and 1600 through to exotic race machinery like the Lamborghini Murcielago, the Ebbro range has something for everyone.
Detail and finish on these models is definitely top of the range, with fine photo etched parts, full interior and underbody details, perfect paint finish and top quality tampo printing or decals to finish off the competition models. Production quantities are strictly limited so the available range will change over the year depending on new releases and older models selling out. Please watch the New Release page for updates. Ebbro also do some magnificent large scale models in 1:10, 1:20 and 1:24 scale. These are jewel like in their precision and detail, and feature opening panels to reveal full interior, engine, chassis and other details. The 1:20 scale models are all Honda F1 cars from the sixties, while the 1:24 range covers exotic road going sports cars such as the Toyota 2000GT (currently sold out), Honda S2000, Datsun 240Z, Porsche 911 Carrera and Nissan Skyline GT-R R34. The 1:10 scale items are all Honda motorcycles.
